- Learn Paint Shop Pro by making text

PREVIEW 
STEP 1- Save this picture and open in your Paint Shop Pro (or you can use any wallpaper, picture you want). Name it OriPic
- Right click on the layer -> Convert to Raster Layer -> Create new layer named WhiteBG and put it behind
STEP 2- Right click on layer OriPic -> Duplicate -> named BgText -> At the topmenu choose Effects -> Texture Effects -> Weave gapsize_3 width_30 opacity_100 color_black & check option fill gaps
STEP 3 - Press T and add text to picture, my setting is font_VNI-Revue size_72 fontstyle_B
STEP 4- Press S to choose tool selection -> ctrl + A -> left click on the image -> ctrl + shift + F -> you will see new layer created name Promoted Selection, right click to delete it and also the text vector
- At the top menu choose Selections -> Load/Save Selections -> Save Selection To Alpha Channel -> named TextSelection
- ctrl + shift + I to invert the selection
- Choose layer BgText -> press Delete -> ctrl D
- At the topmenu choose Selections -> Load/Save Selections -> Load Selection From Alpha Channel -> load TextSelection
- Create new layer named Drop1 -> at the topmenu choose Effects -> 3D Effects -> Drop Shadow vertical_0 horizontal_0 opacity_80 blur_3 color_black -> right click on the layer and choose Duplicate
- I assume you still have the selection of the text -> create new layer named Drop2 -> at the topmenu choose Effects -> 3D Effects -> Drop Shadow vertical_2 horizontal_-2 opacity_80 blur_3 color_black -> right click on the layer and choose Duplicate two times ->ctrl + D
STEP 5- Change opacity of layer OriPic to 40
