- Learn Paint Shop Pro by making text
- Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro X2 ...


- Save this picture and open in your Paint Shop Pro (or you can use any wallpaper, picture you want). Name it OriPic

- Right click on the layer OriPic -> Duplicate -> named BlurPic
- Choose the BlurPic -> on the topmenu choose Adjust -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur radius_90
- Press T to choose tool to write text, layer name OriText, my setting is font_comicsansms size_72 fontstyle_B color_white
- Still on the text layer, ctrl + A -> left click in the picture -> ctrl + shift + F to select only text.
- At the top menu choose Selections -> Load/Save Selections -> Save Selection To Alpha Channel -> named TextSelection
- Still with that selection, choose layer BlurPic -> press Delete -> ctrl + D
- I know nothing change right, because your text layer is still on. Now lets turn it off by click the icon of layer OriText

- At the top menu choose Selections -> Load/Save Selections -> Load Selection From Alpha Channel -> choose TextSelection
- Create new layer named BlurBorder on top of the layer list, and fill with black color_#000000
- Ctrl + D to deselect -> on the topmenu choose Adjust -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur radius_2
